The prevention and response to marine spills web arises to support PREVECMA net and to provide continuity to the tasks carried out within the framework of the coordinated project CONTINMAR (Strategies actions of Marine Spills MEC). Its main objective is compile, centralize, update and spread relevant information and documentation related to marine spill pollution in its different aspects: prevention, response preparation, response, impact, transport logistic and waste management, socioeconomic aspect, etc. The portal includes information about entities, organizations and companies which develop activities and services in those areas, with its capacities, experience, action field and availability as well as the documentation and the most relevant results of projects, activities and initiatives carried out in this field.
